Victoria L. Watson advocates for employees and unions in matters involving claims of illegal and unfair treatment in the workplace, including employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower protections.

 

Prior to joining KCNF, Victoria practiced civil litigation in Dallas, Texas, where she represented victims and families in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and products liability cases. She began her career as an attorney with a national law firm specializing in complex insurance coverage and litigation matters, and has litigated on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court.

 

Victoria graduated from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she received awards for her written work in the areas of gender discrimination and tort litigation. During law school, Victoria served as Fundraising and Outreach Chair of the Women Law Students Association and worked as a law student mediator in the Civil Mediation Clinic. Additionally, Victoria served as a judicial intern for the 68th and 302nd Dallas County District Courts.
