Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch, P.C. has elevated Aaron Herreras Szot to the position of partner with the firm, effective January 1, 2023.

Szot joined KCNF in January 2016. She helps clients who are facing a wide range of employment discrimination and disciplinary matters navigate all phases of litigation in federal court and before administrative bodies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). She also has expertise in State Department Foreign Service Grievance Board matters and is a member of the firm’s security clearance practice.
Szot received a B.A. from the University of Chicago and her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where she was the executive editor of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and a member of the GW Moot Court Board and the GW Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She received the Ogden W. Fields Labor Law Award for the highest overall proficiency in labor law.
